*Yum* *Yum* This is nice!! And NOT TOO EXPENSIVE! I’m currently having bak kut teh at one of the coffeeshop at Block 107 Ang Mo Kio Street 11. Oh yes, this is a lot cheaper and the quantity is definitely more than those few that I’d tried at Balestier Road. But I guess not everyone will like it because this is the “black” colour kind, with herbs instead of the pepper-y kind of taste.
Oh, this is definitely not my first visit here but it’s just that I took a walk at a nearby shop and remembered about this stall and thus came to have my lunch.
It’s accessible and easily located, especially if you drive. If it’s by bus, maybe it’s not as convenient. There’s actually 2 coffeeshops here, but this is the one nearer to the entrance to the car park. Normally it’ll be quite crowded during meal times, so if you want to try it, it’s definitely better to come earlier. The service might be a bit slow though, especially during peak hours. But oh well, it’s a coffeeshop so don’t expect too much, considering the fact that there’s no service charge. Still, the ladies are nice enough to deliver the food to your table.
If you need more soup (which most likely you will), you can just approach any of the ladies working for that stall. They are rather friendly.
Yes, I’ll definitely (guarantee + chop) go back and eat at that stall again.
