It’s been raining in the afternoon for the past few days. Luckily just now during lunch, there wasn’t any rain and we were able to walk to the nearby foodcourt for our lunch. That’s where I had the same food, for the second time this week. It’s the foodcourt located at Serangoon North Avenue 5, above the Sheng Siong building. Somewhere between the industrial buildings and HDB flats.
The good thing about a foodcourt? There’s a lot of varieties but I still chose to have this because a few days ago, I ate it and am craving for it. What did I eat? It’s the Black Sauce Chicken (that comes with a bowl of rice).
Cheap and good, simply yummy! Cost of lunch is less than S$5.00, and am really filling!
But, I guess for this type of foodcourt, it’s probably only useful if you are working nearby. And if you are, you’ll probably know about this stall already. Nonetheless, if you happen to be around this area, be it for work, for shopping at Sheng Siong, furniture or tyre shops, you can just pop in and try. There’s an underground carpark which I’d never tried before. Otherwise, you can try to park at the HDB flats. Don’t attempt to park along the road because the road is quite narrow.
Otherwise, take a bus. There’s Bus No. 315 (from Serangoon) and 159 (Sengkang, Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh).
