It’s the craze for PRAWN MEE! Shall start with this one, at one of the coffeeshop at Serangoon North Avenue 1, Block 153. Was walking around and wondering what to eat for my lunch with my colleagues when I saw this relatively new stall, somewhere at the end of the coffeeshop. The smell of the soup seems quite good and thus I decided to try.
For the price of only $2.50, it sure is worth it, at least for the first impression. There’s 2 prawns, quite a bunch of lean meat and a little vegetables (bean sprouts and kang kong).
Verdict? Well, it wasn’t too bad for a normal neighbourhood stall. The soup wasn’t really that thick but it sure got the taste. And definitely nicer after you put some chilli padi inside, especially if you like the soup to be a little spicy.
If you want to go there and deliberately try it, probably you can skip that idea, since it’s not really near to any MRT stations or malls. But if you just happen to be around the corner, it’s not too bad.
