I do, and definitely agree (both hands up) with the government and welcome the upgrading of the toilets of old HDB flats at supposedly a cheaper rate. But am wondering… What happen to those people who has no other place to hide?
For the next 10 days or so, I’ll be ‘hiding’ at one of my aunt’s place as my parents’ toilets will be revamping and the whole house would be dirty and noisy. With 2 little children around, we have no choice but to ‘flee’ that place. Troublesome? Yes, indeed but we are the luckier ones for my aunties and uncle live near us. I’ve seen some of my other neighbors having to bathe at the temporary toilets located at the ground floor, and have heard of people playing pranks by switching off the lights while you are bathing. *phew* At least I won’t have to worry about that.
Why didn’t I go back to my own house. Well, it’s the same thing again. My lil’ hub hadn’t change. He is as ignorant as ever and thinks that his wife and mother are superb. He even considered asking his mum to take a week’s leave to help to look after the kids. Goodness! Till now he hasn’t wake up his idea yet! His mum couldn’t even handle if it’s only one of them… What was he thinking!
Anyhow, since I’m not living in the comfort of my own or my parents’ house. And that I only have limited things with me that I brought. I probably should sit down and think about what I want to do after these 10 days. Schedules have been messed up and I have yet to adjust.
But I think I need to look at the current issue first… I need food…
